Personal and Professional
Tom Tuso: I've been a resident for 44 years, and have worked at almost every job available in Bass Lake, from Bartending and Waiting tables at Old Ducey's, Bartending at the Pines Bar, to construction of Old Ducey's dance room, to management at new Ducey's. I graduated Fresno State University with a BA in Advertising and Marketing. I am married to Tammy with two children. My wife and I started Bass Lake Boat Rentals in 1996. All of our family participates at the Marina and The Marina Bar and Grill. Best way to describe me..."I'm all business".

Tammy Tuso: I was raised in San Diego and moved here freshman year of high school, graduating from Yosemite High. I worked at Ducey's Bar & Grill as a waitress for several years, where Tom and I met. Shortly after our marriage, we started Bass Lake Boat Rentals (1996), and have operated it since then. We opened The Marina Bar and Grill in 2016 to add to our guests experience. We have three children, North, 26, and Daytona, 24, Bella (family dog), 6.

North Tuso: I have lived here all my life and graduated Yosemite High School, then went on to attend LA Film School. I love the outdoors, motorcycle riding and photography. You may have seen me riding wheelies on the low road, or maybe you have seen me filming me riding wheelies on the low road. I also work in the family business at The Marina Bar and Grill.

Daytona Sabelhaus: I have lived here all my life, working in the family business as a child while playing travel soccer. I attended Yosemite High School and played Varsity Soccer. I graduated Yosemite High School and then, with a soccer scholarship, earned a BA in Marketing at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. Upon graduation I moved back to Bass Lake to work in the family business with my husband Benjamin. Together, we have a beautiful two year old daughter, Fiona, and hope to have more little ones down the road.

Benjamin Sabelhaus: I grew up in Ohio playing Lacrosse most of my childhood. Upon high school graduation, I attended Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina on a Lacrosse scholarship, where I earned a BA in Business Management and a Minor in Marketing. During college I met my wife, Daytona, and we got married shortly after we graduated in Yosemite, CA. We enjoy the area, our work, and our newest member, our two year old daughter, Fiona Rose.
Our Ideology
Simply put, We believe that exceptional customer service for the guest(s) and the homeowner will lead to financial gain. Our family owns and operate multiple businesses within the area such as Bass Lake Boat Rentals, Marina Bar & Grill, Bass Lake Mini Storage, & Bass Lake BnB. While we are locals, we have traveled all over the country to experience the different wants and needs of tourists everywhere. When we vacation we try to understand what a guest may experience and bring this understanding to our management. We pride ourselves and our employees on our customer service skills, something that seems to be lacking in many of today's industries. We will treat your property like it's our own. We are not here to 'make a quick buck, and we don't want just any guest to stay in your home; we want the right guest. We are looking for guests that appreciate what your home has to offer, but also respect your home and its rules. Let's say the cleaners came & cleaned your home after a guests stay & it wasn't cleaned to our standards. After our inspection; we will re-clean your home ourselves and not charge you another pesky cleaning fee. Every day during summer rental season many of us are always on-site and available to meet your guests, or you, at the drop of a hat (in the off season, one of us is typically still onsite every day). Nothing can be more frustrating than only being able to communicate with your management company or host via text or email. We are here for you and your guest 24/7 (31).
